Taking cues from peculiar and poorly conceived edutainment titles of the 1990s, Baldi's Basics is a uniquely unsettling horror game that defies conventional educational values. Your mission involves gathering seven notebooks and making your escape from the school, but this task proves to be far more challenging than it sounds! To devise an effective strategy and elude Baldi, you'll need to thoroughly understand the intricacies of the game. Mastering the use of Baldi's allies, strategically managing items discovered around the school, and memorizing the school's layout are all essential for triumph!

The game features two distinct modes: story mode and endless mode!

• In story mode, you must find all seven notebooks and then successfully exit the school to achieve victory. As you collect more notebooks, Baldi's pursuit will intensify! It's straightforward, yet extremely difficult.

• Endless mode presents a test of endurance, challenging you to collect as many notebooks as possible before Baldi catches you. With each passing moment, Baldi's speed increases, but solving the problems in notebooks will temporarily slow him down. The longer you can reduce his velocity, the more notebooks you'll be able to amass!
